Kosmo Machine Inc. Investment Expands Operation and Workforce of its Precision Manufacturing Facility in Henrico County, VA

RICHMOND, Va., Aug. 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Kosmo Machine Inc., a full-service, high-tech precision machine shop in Henrico County, VA, will invest $1 million in new equipment to increase its production capacity to manufacture precision components for a variety of industries including electric power generation, chemical and fibers, electric motor components, and shipbuilding. This investment will, in turn, expand its workforce by 36 new jobs.

Founded in 1976, Kosmo Machine has grown its business footprint into a 62,000 square foot climate-controlled facility where it specializes in computer numerical control milling and turning, electrical discharge machining, and custom welding processes, as well as ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System.

Significant to Kosmo Machine's company growth is this year's AS9100-D Aerospace and Defense quality system certification, gaining entrance into the aerospace industry manufacturing sector.
