Korn/Ferry International Strengthens its Presence in Greater China with Three New Hires
SINGAPORE, June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, has strengthened its position in the Greater China region with three new hires.
Based in Beijing and Shanghai respectively, the new partners will augment and deepen Korn/Ferry’s capabilities in the Life Sciences, Industrial and Financial Services Markets. They are:
- Jerome Bucher joins as Senior Client Partner in Beijing for Korn/Ferry’s Life Sciences Market. He was previously with Heidrick & Struggles where he focused on the Life Sciences sector, with an emphasis on pharmaceutical and medical device companies, as well as the industrial space, most notably in the capital goods sector. A Swiss national and Beijing resident, Mr. Bucher has lived and worked in the Greater China region for over 20 years. He holds a master’s degree in Chinese Studies from the University of Zurich and an M.B.A. from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland;
- Steve Jiang joins as Senior Client Partner for the Firm’s Industrial Market. Based in Shanghai, he joins from Russell Reynolds where he specialized in the Industrial practice, specializing in electrical and capital equipment sectors, as well as pharmaceutical and medical devices. Mr. Jiang received his M.B.A. in finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Zhejiang University, China; and
- Miao Cao joins as Client Partner in Shanghai serving clients in the Financial Services Market. Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, she had her own consulting firm in Silicon Valley advising Fortune 500 companies, VC-funded startups and international non-government organizations in the U.S., Europe and China. Ms. Cao’s earlier career was with McKinsey & Company and JPMorgan Chase. Based in Shanghai, she holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree from Beijing Foreign Studies University.
