SEOUL, South Korea, Aug. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- 'Korea Food Show 2016' is held from September 1st to 4th at aT Center, Yangjae-dong, Seoul. Korea Food Show is the representative food fair in Korea.
Korea Food Show plans to hold various programs for internal and external buyers of the food industry. A special 'Buyer Meeting' will be held for four days in a row. Moreover, the audience can get the information about a strategy to bring more export expansion at the conference (September 2nd). These programs and other events such as short lectures are to provide information about the Korean food industry.
"This exhibition will be the chance to look over the Korean food industry's current situation", said Kim Eui Jeong, executive officer of 'Korea Food Show 2016'. The theme of the exhibition describes the bright future of the food industry. For example, a hologram video will show a future collaboration between food and IT industries. In addition, audience can experience future food and a smart kitchen with a refrigerator and a dining table which is connected by the Internet of Things (IoT).
This exhibition is the 8th Korea Food Show. From September 1st to 2nd are business days for food industry experts and buyers, and from September 3rd to 4th are public days for all to attend. During public days, the audience can purchase premium Korean agri-food products. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs is hosting while Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corporation is conducting this exhibition.
