Ingram Micro Mobility's Tablet-as-a-Service to Feature KoolSpan's Security Solutions to Protect Voice and Data Communications, Critical to Ensuring Privacy and Security in an Increasingly Connected Healthcare Infrastructure
ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- KoolSpan Inc today announced at the 2014 Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition, a global agreement with Ingram Micro Mobility that will help ensure privacy and security in a connected healthcare environment. Under the agreement, Ingram Micro Mobility will distribute KoolSpan's suite of hardware-based security solutions to protect voice and data communications via its Tablet-as-a-Service offering.
Available security solutions through Ingram Micro Mobility include KoolSpan's TrustCall, designed to protect sensitive voice communications, and TrustText®, a secure, archivable messaging platform that allows health care professionals to send encrypted, HIPAA-compliant information to patients. The TrustText messaging platform can include standard appointment reminders, lab results, payment reminders and other messages.
