Versatile and Durable

Different fields require different tank heater configurations. The Scepter meets this need. It is attached to the regulated steam line and can be placed anywhere in the tank which allows it to conform to the plant's existing equipment. There's no clogging, so daily maintenance is not an issue and with no moving parts, there's nothing to wear out. With temperature modulators ingeniously placed before the steam leaves the Scepter, the temperature of the mix is thermostatically controlled.

The Equalizer™ is the Scepter's Jewel

At the end of the Scepter, Komax' engineers have placed their Equalizer™. This device, akin to looking into a miniature jet engine and giving the heater its scepter-like appearance, makes it all possible. As the steam is released into the liquid, eddy currents are created in the wake of the exiting steam.

A vacuum is created by the momentum of the exiting steam draws the liquid into the perimeter of the Equalizer™ where water and steam are divided and mixed to produce complete contacting. The stirring action helps to produce uniform temperatures and to prevent clogging.
