KOHLER, Wis., Aug. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Kohler Co. today announced plans to expand its Kohler Waters Spa offering with a second location in the Chicago area at Lincoln Common – a new crossroads development in Lincoln Park. It will be part of a six-acre development enhancing the already vibrant neighborhood. Kohler Waters Spa Lincoln Park will be located at 2358 North Lincoln Avenue, one of the several restored and revitalized structures in Lincoln Common.
Kohler's first Chicago day spa is located in Burr Ridge about 20 miles southwest of the Loop and was declared the #1 Day Spa in the Chicago area in 2012.
Kohler Waters Spa Lincoln Park will have onsite parking for 21 treatment rooms, spread across two floors. The spa will also offer luxurious indoor and outdoor relax areas, a manicure and pedicure finishing salon, a hair salon, and most notable a Hydromassage Pool in a Thermal Suite. Water is the central theme in every Kohler Waters Spa with special attention paid to hydrotherapy experiences. The Spa will offer water experiences for all five senses and have a hydrotherapy circuit to include sauna, cool plunge pool and steam room.
With a palate of pastels and blues, the interior space will include products from Kohler brands such as Ann Sacks tile and KOHLER plumbing products.
The Hydromassage Pool features a water massage experience providing spa goers with a hydromassage journey. Taking restoration to the next level, the massaging jets target the body at varying heights starting with the calves, leading through the glutes and back, and concluding with a powerful gooseneck showerhead for the neck and shoulders. The Hydromassage Pool is an example of how leadership in plumbing allows Kohler Waters Spa to leverage engineering and in-depth research to deliver the power and benefits of water, creating a unique and meaningful experience for guests.
The second floor of the spa will be home to 21 treatments rooms, plus two KOHLER custom Vichy Showers which ensure the massage therapist's hands rarely leave the guest. A digital showering system called the KOHLER DTV controls water temperature, patterns and angles digitally so the therapist can focus on the guest. The second floor will also include a generous co-ed lounge with an indoor relaxation space and outdoor patio seating, filled with beautiful landscaping aimed to help guests escape the bustle of urban surroundings.
Kohler Waters Spa Lincoln Park will have in its menu signature services for which the brand is known, as well as seasonal services unique to the Lincoln Park location. Opening of the Kohler Waters Spa in Lincoln Park is scheduled for June 2019.
The flagship location of the Kohler Waters Spa at The American Club in Kohler, Wisconsin, two hours north of Chicago is one of only 60 Forbes Five-Star spas in the world and has an impeccable commitment to service.
