KOHLER® Home Generator Sweepstakes - There's Still Time to Win
Prize features an installed home generator from KOHLER Generators and the nonprofit Federal Alliance for Safe Home (FLASH)®
TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Nov. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- November 30 marks the end of the 2014 Atlantic Hurricane Season and the last chance to win a KOHLER home generator and professional installation as a part of the Great Hurricane Blowout. One lucky family will win a 20-kilowatt KOHLER home generator (model 20RESAL) which can power home systems, including appliances, electronics, heating/cooling, lights, refrigerators, sump pumps, security alarms and more.
According to the National Weather Service, Hurricane Sandy left approximately 8.5 million people without power in multiple states as it made landfall on October 29, 2012. Three days later, 4.8 million customers across 15 states and the District of Columbia remained without power.
"Families in the disaster zone usually expect to lose power because of a storm, however, many are surprised when they suffer an outage even though they live thousands of miles away and their home is undamaged." said FLASH President and CEO Leslie Chapman-Henderson. "A home generator provides peace of mind and can help keep families safe, comfortable and secure no matter where they live."
The Great Hurricane Blowout is an educational initiative presented by FLASH, KOHLER Generators and State Farm Insurance Companies® to raise awareness of hurricane preparedness best practices from family emergency plans and kits to home strengthening construction products and techniques.
Visit the Great Hurricane Blowout to enter online or by mail at Kohler Power Systems, Great Hurricane Blowout Sweepstakes, MS 072, 444 Highland Drive, Kohler, WI 53044. View the full sweepstakes rules and eligibility requirements prior to entering.
