INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Knowledge Services (KS) has selected a construction developer, owner's representative, and architect for their new headquarters building and the Green Acres Technology Park in Fishers, Indiana. Construction on the new 80,000 square-foot space, which will be adjacent to Navient's existing Indianapolis headquarters at 11100 USA Pkwy, is set to begin later this year. Knowledge Services purchased the location site on March 8, 2017, and expects to complete the new headquarters by the end of 2019, creating nearly 400 jobs by 2021.
Knowledge Services has awarded Citimark Management Company as the real estate construction developer and American Structurepoint, Inc. as the architectural firm after a competitive solicitation process.
"Citimark is honored to have been chosen to continue a long-standing relationship with Knowledge Services to execute on their vision of a state-of-the-art headquarters, located within a world class Technology Park that will embody the mission of the company and cultivate future growth," said Bill Carlstedt, President of Citimark Management Company. "The site selected for the Knowledge Services headquarter building, and the additional sites available for development, is fantastic. The location is within close proximity to the commercial growth happening in and around the Fishers Nickel Plate District and provides significant frontage along the heavily traveled I-69 corridor."
With this move, Knowledge Services will be able to accommodate all of its growing Indianapolis workforce as well as additional staff across the United States in fully-owned facilities that foster creative thinking and collaboration. Just as this project is a symbol of Knowledge Services' growth, it is yet another example of Indiana developing a stronger workforce.
"American Structurepoint is [also] very excited to partner with Knowledge Services to work toward achieving their vision and goals for a new headquarters building and campus in Fishers," said Robert Bray, Senior Project Manager with American Structurepoint, Inc. "We believe this project aligns perfectly with our very own company mission, which is to improve the quality of life for our communities and people."
Knowledge Services has appointed Bob Dugger, Director with Cushman & Wakefield, as the owner's representative. "Cushman & Wakefield and I are honored to have been chosen to represent Knowledge Services in the development of this new corporate headquarters/campus," said Dugger. "We are excited about working with a team of established professionals to ensure seamless delivery of the project. Knowledge Services' rapid growth and expanding footprint are great news for Central Indiana."
"Joining the other growing companies in the technology- and entrepreneurial-spirited City of Fishers further supports our vision of innovation, growth, and community," stated Knowledge Services' CEO, Julie Bielawski. "We are very excited about the incredibly talented team we have pulled together to help us in building our new headquarters in Fishers. Their talent and years of experience confirm our confidence in the progressive, exciting, and innovative environment we will create together."
City of Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness stated, "Knowledge Services' plan for the Green Acres Technology Park fits the vision of the I-69 business corridor, and I'm excited to see this project move forward and the momentum that comes from it. The Bielawskis are great partners in supporting this vision, and I look forward to having them as a part of our smart, vibrant, and entrepreneurial business community."
