MEDL Mobile creates a comprehensive all-in-one reference iPhone app
IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- MEDL Mobile, Inc., the leader in mobile application development and the company behind internationally successful apps such as Boxhead, Note to God and the #1 hit, Mall Maps, have launched a new app that allows users to quickly access practically any piece of information they need. The app, entitled Pocket Reference, links to more than 500 reference, how-to, newsfeed, time-waster and information websites
"As the 'Tech Guy,' my family, friends, and customers ask for all types of information to look up on my iPhone," said Tim Vinsant, founder of Pocket Reference. "I became frustrated from using several apps for this purpose. Since I couldn't find a good comprehensive all-in-one reference app, I decided to look into building one myself."
The app allows users to browse through 50 categories, which includes more than 180 mobile-friendly websites. Also, users can bookmark their favorite sites and request a website be built in the next update. Other convenient features include telling friends about the app through e-mail, Facebook or Twitter.
"This app is an incredibly handy research tool," said Dave Swartz, MEDL Co-Founder. "We worked hard to streamline the app so that you're never more than a few clicks away from practically any piece of information."
