Knight Libertas Expands Fixed Income Research Team
JERSEY CITY, N.J. and GREENWICH, Conn., March 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Knight Libertas LLC, a subsidiary of Knight Capital Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NITE), today announced the appointments of Charles R. Mounts as Managing Director and Christopher A. Recouso as Director, both in Fixed Income Research.

Knight Libertas is an institutional fixed income broker-dealer providing research, sales, trading and capital markets services across a broad range of securities. Mr. Mounts is the former Co-Head of Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities Research at UBS while Mr. Recouso is a well-regarded analyst specializing in emerging markets. At Knight Libertas, Mr. Mounts will be responsible for coverage of the financial sector and Mr. Recouso will cover emerging markets issuers and distressed debt.
Knight Libertas Fixed Income Research produces independent, in-depth reports spanning the issuer's capital structure, including bank debt, corporate bonds, convertible bonds, preferred shares and common stock. Charles Mounts is Managing Director, Fixed Income Research, responsible for coverage of the financial sector.
Mr. Mounts is the former Co-Head of Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) Research at UBS and, before that, was Head of European Credit Research based in London. Previously, Chuck was a Vice President in Credit Research at Goldman Sachs and an Analyst in Fixed Income Credit Research at Merrill Lynch. During his career, he has achieved high rankings in various investor polls in the U.S. and Europe. He began his career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Chuck has a bachelor of arts in international economics and history from Claremont McKenna College and a master of public policy from Harvard University.
Christopher A. Recouso
Director, Fixed Income Research

Christopher Recouso is Director, Fixed Income Research, responsible for coverage of emerging markets issuers and distressed debt.
Mr. Recouso spent more than a decade at Bear Stearns as an Equity Research Analyst in Global Emerging Markets Research where he covered the media and telecommunications sectors. He was named to the Institutional Investor All-America Research Team each year from 1998 to 2007. Chris joined Knight from Global China Holdings, LLC where he worked as an adviser on corporate restructurings. Prior to that, he was a Principal in the Global Distressed Assets/Global Credit Products Group at Banc of America Securities.
Chris has a bachelor of arts in political science and economics from Rutgers College, a master of arts in political economy from Fordham University and a master of arts in political economy from New York University.
