Knight Hinman Joins Barney & Barney
Sales Director Adds To Growing Presence In San Francisco Bay Area
SAN DIEGO, March 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Barney & Barney Insurance Services LLC, a Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC, today announced than Knight Hinman, an insurance and risk management professional with 14 years of experience, has been named Bay Area Sales Director.
Hinman is responsible for managing a team of 15 insurance and employee benefits professionals in the firm's San Francisco and Walnut Creek offices. Barney & Barney's Bay Area locations specialize in serving clients in technology, healthcare, construction and higher education. The firm also serves local governments and non-profit organizations, among other industry segments.

Hinman has extensive experience in commercial insurance and risk management. He worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance in Denver and Phoenix in a series of positions of increasing responsibility. Hinman served as Senior Account Representative, Business Sales Manager and Territory Manager for the company. He also worked as a sales executive for BBVA Compass Insurance Agency in Denver. Hinman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies from Northwestern University. He holds the Certified Insurance Councilor designation.
