KMPH FOX 26 and DataSphere to Launch Community Websites in Fresno, California
BELLEVUE, Wash., Nov. 30, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- KMPH-TV, and DataSphere Technologies, a provider of hyper-local web technology and sales solutions for media companies, today announced that they will partner to launch community focused websites for the Fresno-Visalia, CA designated market area (DMA). Fresno-Visalia is the 55th largest DMA in the US with just under 600,000 households.
These websites will feature hyper-local news content and include user-generated content about area happenings & events. Local businesses will also benefit from the opportunity to target their potential customers. In addition to powering the community websites, DataSphere will provide additional functionality to the KMPH.com website with cutting-edge functionality, including market-leading site search, local coupons, a local business directory, and innovative and effective ad targeting for small and medium-sized local advertisers.
