Kings Dominion to Honor Nation's Heroes with Military Days
Free admission to current or retired service men and women
DOSWELL, Va., May 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Kings Dominion – home of the bigger, better Planet Snoopy – kicks off the unofficial start of summer on Memorial Day weekend with the opening of WaterWorks, Kings Dominion's 20-acre water park which is included with the price of admission.

Kings Dominion will also honor our nation's heroes with Military Days May 25 – 27 and Dominion at Dusk which features a firework show, Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular with more than one million LED lights and Street Beats, an all-new dance party on the famous International Street. Dominion at Dusk will operate during every 10 p.m. park closing from May 25th through Labor Day weekend.
During Military Days, Kings Dominion will offer free park admission to any active or inactive U.S. Servicemen or Servicewomen with a valid military ID. Guests are encouraged to visit their local military installation for special family and friend pricing. Military Day weekend activities include a moment of silence, flag raising, military bands, patriotic music and more.

In 2013, Kings Dominion unveiled the bigger, better Planet Snoopy with eight new family rides (18 total rides) that are designed specifically for families to experience together. Planet Snoopy now spans nearly 14-acres and features Snoopy's Rocket Express – an aerial 600-foot-long monorail – along with the classic teacups with a new Woodstock twist on Woodstock Whirlybirds and more.
Kings Dominion will begin daily operation on Friday, May 24th and WaterWorks will be open daily starting Saturday, May 25th. 2013 Season Passes to Kings Dominion are now available online at www.kingsdominion.com. Gold Season Passes are now on sale – which include early admission to WaterWorks, free parking and admission to the park through the popular Halloween Haunt event – for as low as 6-easy payments of $16.00. Gold goes away Monday, May 27th.
