Kinecta Federal Credit Union Empowers Youth to Be Financially Savvy During Youth Week
"Money Rocks at My Credit Union" theme embraced as part of National Financial Literacy for Youth Month
MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif., April 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Kinecta Federal Credit Union will kick off its Youth Week celebration on April 19-23, as part of a nationwide effort to educate young people about the importance of being money-smart. With the theme "Money Rocks at my Credit Union," Kinecta joins credit unions across the country in the annual National Credit Union Youth Week™.
"Kinecta is committed to empowering our youth with the tools they need to become financially savvy at a young age," said Cathleen Dominguez, First Vice President, Marketing and Corporate Communications. "Youth Week gives us a great opportunity to focus on teaching our younger members how to make wise money choices and develop healthy spending and savings habits."
All new Kinecta youth accounts opened during Youth Week will receive $5.00 from Kinecta.
