Julianne Hough will co-lead the breakout session on Media & Self Esteem noting the negative effect tabloids and gossip can have on body image and confidence. Additional speakers include Jessica Weiner, Cara Natterson, Lulu Cerone, Chelsea Harris, Talitha Baker, and Molly Stern. The Camp day will culminate with a screening of the documentary Finding Kind and a Kind Campaign assembly led by Camp co-founders Lauren Paul and Molly Thompson.
"Kind Campaign started as a documentary and transformed into a national school program rooted in the simple notion that kindness can be a miraculous change agent. Kind Camp is the next evolution in our mission to eradicate girl against girl crime," said Kind Campaign co-founder Molly Thompson.
Added Kind Campaign co-founder Lauren Paul, "We were inspired to create change as a result of our own bullying experiences and we want to encourage other girl's to use their stories as motivation to spread kindness. Along with Julianne Hough and all of the motivating speakers participating in Kind Camp, we hope to equip these young women with the tools to create a kinder school environment and a more confident female student body."
"Kind Campaign has brought much needed attention to the issue of female bullying and I am honored to be a partner in this new project," said Hough. "The world needs more acts of kindness and it is events like Kind Camp that can help transform the way young women interact, support one another and help them to achieve a true view of their inner worth and beauty."

About Kind Campaign
In February 2009, while attending Pepperdine University, Lauren Paul & Molly Thompson joined forces. What began as an idea for a documentary about girl-against-girl bullying, ultimately became the widely respected and highly sought after, Kind Campaign, an internationally recognized movement, documentary, and school assembly program based on the powerful belief in KINDness that brings awareness and healing to the negative and lasting effects of girl-against-girl "crime." Having both been affected by female bullying throughout their youth, the young women decided to create change by giving females a platform to speak out about this universal experience.
Immediately upon graduating with degrees in Film and Television Production, Lauren & Molly drove across the country for two months to shoot their documentary and began to implement their school program into schools across the nation. Their documentary, Finding Kind, screens in schools and communities every day of the school year and has served as a life-changing education tool for thousands of schools and communities across America and Canada.
Lauren & Molly have personally spoken with their assembly program in over 450 schools across North America and have completed five international anti-bullying school tours, reaching hundreds of thousands of students with their message. With their film, assembly program, school tours, Kind Club curriculum and their strong online community, Kind Campaign serves as the premier anti-bullying movement for girls and has impacted millions of individuals across the globe.
