Kinaxis Promotes Key Employees to Support Company Expansion
Long-time team members ascend to vice president roles in mission-critical departments
OTTAWA, Nov. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - Kinaxis, provider of RapidResponse Control Tower, a multi-enterprise planning and "what-if'' simulation solution, today announced that it has promoted four company veterans to vice president positions.
Rob Bell, a 22-year veteran of Kinaxis, assumes the role of vice president, Support & IT. His primary responsibility is to ensure that Kinaxis builds and manages a reliable software-as-a-service infrastructure for RapidResponse Control Tower customers. Bell leads the customer-facing service delivery organization and serves as the chief strategist of IT for the corporation. His expertise and experience span systems integration, quality assurance, supply chain consulting, software services, support delivery and IT management.
Trevor Miles was promoted to vice president of Thought Leadership, serving as an expert source for Kinaxis customers, prospects, industry analysts and journalists. Known throughout the supply chain field, he has published many articles, presented at various industry events, and is the primary contributor to the Kinaxis 21st Century Supply Chain blog. Trevor helps Kinaxis seek new market opportunities within the company's distinctive competence and is instrumental in the company's competitive and market intelligence. He helps key customers achieve the operational control tower vision, guiding their priorities and architectures to realize the full potential of RapidResponse. Having lived, worked, and studied in Canada, the United States, Europe and Africa, Trevor brings a global perspective to market needs and customer requirements. Prior to joining Kinaxis, Trevor worked for i2 Technologies where he held a number of sales & marketing roles and worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies.
Kirsten Watson was named as vice president, Corporate Marketing. In this role, she will support and expand the company's capabilities in lead generation, branding and awareness, advertising, social media and events, as well as support marketing efforts in Europe and Asia. With more than 19 years of marketing experience in the high tech industry, Kirsten has played a pivotal role in steering Kinaxis's innovative ventures in new media over the past seven years, helping to spearhead the development the Supply Chain Expert Community, an interactive online forum for supply chain thought leaders and practitioners. Prior to joining Kinaxis, she held strategic senior marketing positions at Natural Convergence Inc., Cloakware, Nortel, Corel, and OCRI.
Kerry Zuber was promoted to vice president of Business Consulting. In this position, he is responsible for guiding the Kinaxis pre-sales consulting service, which specializes in establishing the value of the RapidResponse service for prospective clients and identifying specific solutions that fit client needs. Kerry is also instrumental to the development and execution of initiatives under the Kinaxis Partner Program. Kerry joined Kinaxis in 1999 as a senior solution consultant and has a long history in supply chain leadership positions, as well as APICS CPIM certification, a bachelor's of science in Business Administration and extensive training and certification in the implementation of lean enterprise practices.
