Kimco Self Storage Expands with U-Haul

LINCOLN, Neb., Aug. 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Kimco Self Storage is expanding its service by offering U-Haul rental equipment.

"It was an opportunity to get more customers into Kimco," said Kimco Self Storage Manager Jackie Grau. "Hopefully some of the customers who come in to rent U-Haul equipment will become storage customers in the near future."

The storage center is offering a new and convenient moving option to the residents of Lincoln. "We're the only U-Haul dealer on this side of town," Grau said. "Our customers don't have to go as far to rent a truck."

Although Kimco Self Storage hasn't seen an increase in traffic since opening with U-Haul, Grau expects results to be seen soon. "It helps that we're a storage business. We have a lot of the same customers, and once people realize we are their nearest U-Haul dealer, we should see an increase in traffic."

Kimco Self Storage has been open for more than 20 years.
