Kimberly McDonald Hires Abby Huhtanen as President

NEW YORK, Sept. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today jewelry designer Kimberly McDonald announced the appointment of Abby Huhtanen as President of the company.

An accomplished fine jewelry executive with more than 20 years of experience, Huhtanen has held top-level sales, marketing and merchandising positions at Robert Lee Morris, John Hardy and Chanel Watches. In her most recent role, as a senior buyer at Bergdorf Goodman, she successfully grew the fine jewelry business to $40M. It is also how she and McDonald came to meet six years ago. "Her jewelry designs were so unique, I believe I may have asked if we could launch her that day," recalls Huhtanen.
