Kimberly Baich Wins ACA's Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship from Missouri

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., July 30, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- ACA International, the association of credit and collection professionals, congratulates Kimberly Baich on being one of this year's winners of the ACA International Education Foundation's Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship. Baich is one of four scholarship recipients this year.

The ACA International Education Foundation awarded Baich $3,000. She is attending Southeast Missouri State University and pursuing a degree in Child Development studies.

Applicants for the Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship must be a current employee of a company affiliated with the collection industry or a dependent child of such. Baich's father, Kevin Baich, works for Day Knight & Associates, an ACA-member company in Ballwin, Mo.

This year's scholarship recipients were selected based on their cumulative grade point average and a 2- to 3-page essay on the topic on the value of consumer credit to our nation's economy. Scholarship recipients must enroll for a minimum of 12 credit hours at an accredited college, university, vocational-technical college or community college within 12 months following receipt of the award.
