Kim Stanley Named Market Vice President, Roanoke Operations for Cox Virginia
ROANOKE, Va., March 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Communications recently named Kim Stanley as Market Vice President, Roanoke Operations for Cox Virginia. In her new role, Stanley is responsible for Cox's day-to-day operations in the Roanoke Valley, leading 150 employees. The Roanoke market represents 111,000 of Cox Virginia's 1.5 million video, Internet and phone subscriptions.
Stanley began her career with Cox Communications in 2007. Most recently, Stanley served as Vice President of Cox Business for Virginia.
Prior to joining Cox, Stanley was Vice President of Partner Sales East for Level 3 Communications, which encompassed the Eastern part of the United States. Also at Level 3 Communications, she was the Regional Vice President of Sales and Operations for the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Before merging with Level 3 Communications, Kim was Senior Vice President for KMC Telecom, a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier. In this role she was responsible for the company's field sales, service and marketing organizations and all revenue and operating free cash flow generating activities across 35 markets nationwide.
Stanley began working in the communications industry in 1989 with MCI Communications and has held a variety of leadership positions in operations, sales, service, and marketing throughout her industry tenure. She possesses more than 20 years of sales, service, operations and marketing experience in telecommunications.
Stanley attended Mary Baldwin College and completed the Hollins University Batten Leadership program.
