Kilpatrick Townsend Adds Three Attorneys to the Firm's Internationally-Recognized Intellectual Property Department

DENVER and SILICON VALLEY, Calif. and SEATTLE, April 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of associates Yin Cheung, Jeffrey Connor and Scott Kolassa to the firm's internationally-recognized Intellectual Property Department.

Ms. Cheung joins Kilpatrick Townsend's Seattle office on the Electronics Software Team. Ms. Cheung, who was previously with AEON Law, focuses her practice on assisting in patent prosecution and counseling in the fields of computer science. Ms. Cheung earned her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law. She earned her B.A. in Computer Science and Economics from Wellesley College and her M.S. in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Mr. Connor joins Kilpatrick Townsend's Denver office on the Patent Litigation Team. Mr. Connor, who was previously with Alston & Bird, focuses his practice on patent and trade secret litigation and prosecution. He earned his J.D. from the William and Mary School of Law, where he was a member of Order of the Coif and the William and Mary Law Review. He earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado.

Mr. Kolassa joins Kilpatrick Townsend's Silicon Valley office in Menlo Park, California on the Patent Litigation Team. Mr. Kolassa, who was previously at King & Spalding,  focuses his practice on intellectual property matters with an emphasis on patent litigation. Mr. Kolassa earned his J.D., with honors, from the Chicago-Kent College of Law. He earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Ms. Cheung, Mr. Connor and Mr. Kolassa join Kilpatrick Townsend after the recent additions in April of Kandace Watson (partner), John Bricker (counsel), Christian Nicholes (counsel), and William Meyer (associate).
