DULUTH, Ga., May 9, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Every year, Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academies donates to the March of Dimes, the nonprofit organization that aids in efforts to prevent and help babies born prematurely or with birth defects. The March of Dimes is a national organization whose donations go towards research, aid, and many other actions to further the goal that "every baby deserves the best possible start."
The Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academies Franchise Support Center raises money every year to donate to the March of Dimes, as well as participating in the local March of Dimes March for Babies. This year, Kids 'R' Kids donated a total of $2,761.00 along with a $25,000.00 sponsorship for the March for Babies.
The sponsorship for the March for Babies includes a tent called the "Kid Zone" which hosts a variety of activities and giveaways for the public. All proceeds go towards the March of Dimes fundraiser.
This year, the March for Babies was held on Saturday, April 27th, at the Suwanee Town Center, in downtown Suwanee, Georgia. The Kids 'R' Kids Franchise Support Office was in attendance, manning the "Kid Zone" tent and participating in the walk and other festivities. The official stage program began at 9:45, where Kids 'R' Kids made their official check donation to March of Dimes. The 5K walk followed the presentation and concluded around noon.
