Kids II, Inc. Donates to Japan Relief Efforts

ATLANTA, May 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- In the wake of the earthquake and tsunami tragedy that devastated Japan, Kids II, Inc. has made donations to two charitable organizations, the American Red Cross and Save the Children, through its philanthropic foundation. Aiding those in distress due to this unprecedented catastrophe is a cause close to the heart of Kids II. The Atlanta-based company has an office in Japan and was distraught to learn of the exponentially high number of children affected by this disaster.

The Kids II Foundation donated $30,000 for disaster relief efforts. This contribution was split between the two organizations: the American Red Cross and Save the Children. The latter, a global group dedicated to assisting children in times of emergency, estimates that 100,000 children have been displaced in Japan due to this catastrophe. Kids II continues to support this organization committed to the welfare of children during this time of extreme need, as well as the ongoing and commendable efforts of the American Red Cross.
