Bacon and Bleu Cheese Burgers

This Sam's Club recipe swaps out American cheese for bleu cheese and incorporates bacon straight into the hamburger patty.

Preparation time: 20 minutes
Servings: 6

Ingredients
2 pounds 90% lean ground beef
4 strips Member's Mark® Turkey Bacon, cooked and diced
1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
3/4 cups crumbled Maytag bleu cheese
1/4 cup minced sweet onion
6 hamburger or hoagie buns, toasted

Cooking directions

Combine 90% lean ground beef, bacon, onion and pepper. Form into 6 equal patties.

Make a thumb-sized indentation in the center of each patty and fill with 1 1/2 tablespoons blue cheese.

Form meat up around cheese to enclose and form a burger.

Cook over a medium hot grill until cooked to your liking. Serve on toasted buns with lettuce and tomato.

Ingredients:
3 cups vodka

In a drink dispenser or large pitcher filled with ice, pour vodka, blackberry lemonade and pineapple juice. Mix well and serve.
