Keystone Region Organizations Receive $354,000 From Comcast Foundation
Grants to Support Programs Focused on Community Service, Digital Literacy and Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders
EXTON, Pa., April 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Twenty nonprofit organizations in Comcast's Keystone Region have been awarded $354,000 in grants from the Comcast Foundation to support programs focused on community service, digital literacy and empowering tomorrow's leaders. Comcast's Keystone Region includes portions of northeastern, central and western Pennsylvania, the Maryland panhandle, eastern Ohio and northern West Virginia.
"We are excited to continue our partnership with Comcast. They have started something positive and are making a big difference in the lives of our children with their financial investment and volunteer efforts," said Jan Glick, Chief Executive Officer of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh.
