Keystone Academy to Sponsor Thirteenth 21st Century English-speaking Competition in China
BEIJING, July 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Keystone Academy has found an ideal partner in the 21st Century Cup. This is China's most prestigious national English-speaking competition for Chinese primary, middle, and high schools.
Keystone Academy is the exclusive school partner for the Beijing division of the Thirteenth 21st Century Cup National Middle School, High School and Primary School English-Speaking Competition. As the co-organizer, Keystone Academy is also the exclusive training venue in Beijing. The thirteenth 21st Century Cup will be unique. Keystone is offering scholarships to outstanding candidates amongst the finalists. Head of School Malcolm McKenzie will be one of the jurors in the competition.
Since its inception, the 21st Century Cup has continued to draw some of the best English-speaking students in China. The finalists also represent the country in the international arena. This is also one of the initiatives encouraged in the wake of China's effort to promote higher standards in English speaking and education among Chinese students. Some of the earlier winners went on to participate in and win the International Public Speaking Competition in London.
Keystone's mission to promote and provide bilingual education in China fits well with the purpose and scope of the 21st Century Cup. Bilingualism is the future of education in a multicultural world. As a Chinese school with an international flavor and an innovative curriculum, this partnership enables Keystone to reiterate its mission.
