Key Leadership Appointments Announced at Scott & White Healthcare
TEMPLE, Texas, March 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- As Scott & White Healthcare President and CEO Robert W. Pryor, M.D., approaches the close of his first full year running one of the largest integrated health care systems in the country, he has assembled a senior management team charged with leading the system into the new age of health care reform by finding solutions to providing the highest quality patient care at a lower cost and with outcomes resulting in healthier communities.

Some recent appointments to the senior management team include:
Pat Currie, chief operating officer (COO)- Prior to her appointment, Currie had served as chief of hospital services for the system. In her more expansive role, she leads operational activities for Scott & White Healthcare's 12 hospital sites (with two additional announced facilities) and more than 65 clinic locations throughout Central Texas.
Dick Dixon, CPA, MBA, chief financial officer (CFO)- A 24-year member of the finance team and formerly senior vice president of financial operations for Scott & White, Dixon also serves as COO of Scott & White properties and assistant treasurer of the Scott & White Healthcare Foundation.
J. Paul Dieckert, M.D., MBA, system chief quality officer (CQO)- Dr. Dieckert, who previously served as division director for vitreoretinal surgery at Scott & White, now leads efforts to position Scott & White to meet and exceed national quality and safety measures.
Cyndy Dunlap, RN, MPA, NEA-BC, FACHE, system chief nurse executive (CNE)-Dunlap previously served as chief nursing officer at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center (part of the Scott & White system). In her new role, she also directs the nursing practice at Scott & White Memorial Hospital - Temple (Scott & White Memorial Hospital).
Marc Hallee, MBA, chief human resource officer (CHRO)- Following an extensive consulting career, Hallee now provides executive leadership for Scott & White's investments in people including: recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, employee benefits, cash compensation and rewards and recognition.
Matthew Chambers, CPHIMS, chief information officer (CIO) - Since joining Scott & White, Chambers has focused on aligning information technology to the business and clinical needs of the system and developing several large-key initiatives to enable the system's business strategy and growth.
