Kevin Thorpe Wins National Association for Business Economics' Outlook Award

WASHINGTON, Sept. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Cassidy Turley, a leading commercial real estate services provider in the U.S., announced today that Chief Economist Kevin Thorpe has won the National Association for Business Economics' (NABE) Outlook Award, which is presented annually to the NABE Outlook Survey panelist with the most accurate economic forecast for the previous four quarters.

The NABE Outlook is a quarterly survey that provides forecasts of macroeconomic variables such as Gross Domestic Product, unemployment rates, the Consumer Price Index and 10-year Treasuries and is made by a panel of professional economic forecasters. NABE presented the inaugural NABE Outlook Award at the 2000 NABE Annual Meeting, and has continued to present the honor at every Annual Meeting since. NABE will present the award to Mr. Thorpe on September 29 during the 2014 NABE Annual Meeting in Chicago.
