Kevin E. Dow Named Vice President and General Manager of Turner's Southern California Operations
Dow Brings 30 Years of Experience at Turner to the Role
NEW YORK, March 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Turner Construction Company, the nation's leading general builder, announced Kevin E. Dow has been named Vice President and General Manager of the firm's Southern California office located in Anaheim, California. Dow will also serve as the General Manager of Regional Operations for Turner's Southwest region, which includes the firm's offices in Southern California and Arizona.
In his role, Dow will be responsible for the overall leadership of Turner's operations in the Southwest region that is responsible for completing work on more than $600 million of construction activity for the firm's clients each year.
Dow joined Turner in 1980 and had various assignments in Turner's Boston and Connecticut offices. In 2006, Dow was named an officer of the firm and later that year transferred to Turner's office in Orange County California where he was named Vice President of Pre-construction Services. Dow then was promoted to Vice President and Operations Manager of the office. In 2008, Kevin was promoted to Vice President and Manager of the Southern California office, his most recent assignment.
Dow holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Clarkson University.
Turner has been constructing buildings in the Southwest for more than 45 years. Turner has built some of the most recognizable buildings in the Southwest, including the Union Bank Tower, the first high-rise building in downtown Los Angeles, the U.S. Bank Tower in Los Angeles, the tallest building west of the Mississippi and managed the renovations for the Angels Stadium in Anaheim.
