Two Key Hires Bring Global Perspective and Diverse Sports Experience
SAO PAULO and NEW YORK, June 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Ketchum Sports & Entertainment (KSE), a division of Ketchum, one of the world leaders in communications and public relations, has expanded its growing presence in Brazil and its leadership team in New York with two new hires – Felipe Soalheiro and Stephanie Burke respectively. From the FIFA World Cup™ to Olympic Games, Soalheiro and Burke bring vast experience in global sporting events as well as the knowledge to work with companies across a variety of industries.

Soalheiro has joined KSE as Sports Director in the Sao Paulo office, and his appointment builds from the group's launch in the market one year ago.

With a B.A. in Sports Management and a New York University specialization in Sports, Entertainment and Events Marketing, Soalheiro brings over ten years of experience in managing integrated platforms in sports and sponsorships for some of the world's largest brands. In his previous roles, Soalheiro worked with the marketing department of the Brazilian soccer team, Clube Atletico Mineiro, served as part of the Rio de Janeiro 2007 Pan American Games Organizing Committee and has also worked at leading marketing agencies, most recently Africa and Octagon.
Burke joins KSE as a Managing Account Supervisor in the New York City office where she plays a key role on international pieces of sports business including the P&G portfolio.

A UK native, Burke has nearly ten years of experience leading teams to develop and deliver sports sponsorship communications campaigns. She has extensive Olympic experience including managing a large portfolio of London 2012 Olympic Games business which included client integration with multiple governing bodies, partnering with athlete spokespeople and developing consumer programming.
