Ketchum CEO Raymond L. Kotcher Awarded Top Industry Honor
Raymond L. Kotcher was honored as one of four recipients of the Individual Achievement SABRE Award. Of Kotcher’s achievements, Holmes Group CEO Paul Holmes wrote, “It is clear that Kotcher was not content for the firm, where he has spent almost 30 years, to rest on its laurels. Under his leadership, Ketchum has been taken to a whole new level, tripling in size and evolving from a powerful force in the U.S. to a genuine global contender.” Holmes also noted Kotcher’s leadership through global expansion and a series of acquisitions, his pioneering in the digital and social media space, his industry and community involvement, and his maintaining of the agency’s focus on producing award-winning client work.
Of the award, Kotcher said, “I’m honored to receive this prestigious award, and I’m proud to stand alongside my fellow recipients, Christa Carone of Xerox, Ray Day of Ford, and Doug Spong of Carmichael Lynch Spong. I accept this award on behalf of my 2,300 colleagues at Ketchum. This is not about any one individual’s achievement, but more about how Ketchum people collaborate with one another and with our clients to achieve great things.”
