12,000 Police and Firefighters to Test Their Athletic Skills in Global Competition in Fairfax, Virginia

FAIRFAX, Va., June 22, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Keolis, a leading provider of passenger transportation services with operations in U.S. and Canada is supporting local first responders on their journey to Fairfax, Virginia to compete in the 2015 World Police & Fire Games from June 26 to July 5.

Held biennially, the World Police & Fire Games continues to grow in size and scope, in both attendance and number of countries participating. Some key facts and figures about the 2015 Games include:

12,000 athletes from more than 70 countries will be participating, making the event larger than the 2012 Summer Olympics
30,000 family visitors will be in attendance of the Games
$70 million will be produced in direct economic impact to the region
61 sporting events will be held in 53 venues in and around Fairfax County, Virginia and the National Capital Region
