Kentucky Health Cooperative continues to expand its service relationships to better serve its thousands of members.
LOUISVILLE, Ky., Feb. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Kentucky Health Cooperative, Inc., a nonprofit, health insurer focused on individuals and small businesses that will be member-governed, today announced a partnership with CareCore |MedSolutions, Inc., a Franklin, Tenn.-based Specialty Benefits Management (SBM) firm.

The program will allow for a more efficient review of clinical service requests. Physician offices and facilities will be able to call in requests for preauthorization of radiology and cardiac imaging tests and procedures. With shortened turnaround times, members will be able to get the care they need faster. It is anticipated that the program will be available in late March-early April.
