LOUISVILLE, Ky., Sept. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Do you know someone who would bring valuable experience, perspective and judgment to the Kentucky Health Cooperative Board of Directors? Kentucky Health Cooperative, (also known as "the CO-OP"), needs a broad representation of membership to provide leadership, governance and oversight. The Nominating Committee is on the lookout for talented, energetic members who are passionate about the health cooperative model and qualified to assume leadership roles.
"That person might be you," said the CO-OP's interim CEO, Glenn Jennings. "If you are currently enrolled in a Kentucky Health Cooperative health plan and you are at least 18 years of age, you have what it takes to get started with a self-nomination."

The CO-OP is on a path to majority governance, with at least 51% of its Board of Directors overseeing operations by January 1, 2016.
The advantages of service to the Board of Directors, a 3-year term, includes the opportunity to help ensure that the CO-OP continues to be for the people and by the people of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
