Kent Tyler Promoted to Vice President of Sales & Marketing - North America for Allied Specialty Vehicles
ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Allied Specialty Vehicles (ASV), a leading manufacturer of motor vehicles for commercial, fire & emergency and recreation markets, today announced that Kent Tyler has been promoted to vice president of sales & marketing – North America for all product lines. Tyler will report to Marcus Berto, chief commercial officer, and continue to be based in the company's corporate headquarters in Orlando.

In his new role, Tyler will lead corporate sales and marketing, oversee business development and direct execution of the company's strategic growth plan for increasing market share of all brands in ASV's vehicle manufacturing portfolio throughout North America. Tyler will continue to oversee ASV's bus division as he transitions into this new position.

Before his promotion, Tyler served as president of ASV's bus division. Prior to this, Tyler was president of E-ONE, a manufacturer of fire rescue vehicles. Before joining E-ONE, Tyler spent more than 15 years with Collins Industries, the last five as president of Collins Bus Corporation. Tyler earned a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University and a master's degree from Missouri State University.
