On a national scale, KAG West was named Circle K's "Carrier of the Year" for its performance in 2010. Circle K is one of the nation's leading convenience store chains. Kenan Transport's Memphis, TN Terminal was named Circle K's "Gulf Coast Terminal of the Year" for exceptional service by an individual terminal location. KAG West also won ExxonMobil's "Best of the West" contest in March of 2011 and then again in April of 2011. This contest includes all of ExxonMobil's carriers on the West Coast.
KAG's Specialty Products subsidiaries were recognized by National Tank Truck Carriers Association for their safe and exceptional performance during 2010. DistTech, Inc., achieved the "Competitive Safety Honor Award" and the "Eighteenth Year Improvement Award" while Transport Service Co. achieved the "Personnel Safety Honor Award". Transport Service Co. was also recognized by Dow Chemical for receiving its "Dow Bulk Liquid Core Carrier Gold Safety Award" for meeting specific exceptional safety and operational criteria.
