Ken Edwards Joins ZirMed as Vice President of Operations

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Feb. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ZirMed, a leading provider of software-as-a-service revenue cycle management solutions, today announced the addition of Ken Edwards as its new Vice President of Operations.  Ken joins ZirMed with more than 20 years of leadership experience in healthcare information technology, revenue cycle management, global quality, and engineering.  Mr. Edwards was most recently the General Manager of Account Management and Organizational Readiness for GE Healthcare IT, and also held the position of the General Manager of Lean Six Sigma.   Prior to GE, Ken served on the Operations Leadership team at the former IDX Corporation in Burlington, VT and held leadership roles at IDX of Vice President, Six Sigma and within Motorola's Quality organization at Motorola University in Mansfield, MA.

Serving as the Vice President of Operations, Ken will lead ZirMed's client implementation, service and account management efforts.  ZirMed has long been recognized for its exceptional customer service and the company was recently recognized as the top scoring vendor in KLAS's annual independent review of the ambulatory clearinghouse market.
