KEMET Corporation Names Susan Barkal to Leadership Team

GREENVILLE, S.C., Nov. 2, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- KEMET Corporation (NYSE Amex: KEM), a leading manufacturer of tantalum, ceramic, aluminum, film, paper and electrolytic capacitors, today announced that Susan (Sue) Barkal, Vice President, Quality and Chief Compliance Officer, will join its Leadership Team.

Barkal joined KEMET as a Quality Engineer in November of 1999 and was promoted to Vice President in 2009. Prior to joining KEMET, Sue previously worked at Nalco Chemical as a Sales Engineer and at General Dynamics as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer.  She received her BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University and her MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic University.
