Kelly Kraines Elected to Board of Directors of Illinois Alliance for Continuing Medical Education for Two-Year Term

HIGHLAND PARK, Ill., May 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Kelly Kraines, General Manager, Med Learning Group (MLG) and Vice President, Ultimate Medical Academy (UMA), was elected to the Board of Directors of the Illinois Alliance for Continuing Medical Education (IACME) for a two-year term. Ms. Kraines is responsible for the continuing medical education (CME) programs of UMA's MLG Unit.

Ms. Kraines has more than 15 years of experience in the medical education arena, in both corporate and non-profit settings. Since founding MLG in 2004, Ms. Kraines has overseen the development of innovative, interactive CME activities that engage learners on various levels using unique and award-winning multimedia formats.

In the fall of 2011, MLG was acquired by UMA, a dynamic career school committed to empowering students to excel in the health care field. UMA strives to provide an educational experience that maximizes value to its students in a professional, supportive and ethical environment.

UMA is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
