Kelly Glass joins Avison Young in San Francisco

Highly regarded industry leader will focus on agency leasing in Bay Area

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ - Nick Slonek, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the company's Northern California region, announced today that agency leasing specialist Kelly Glass has joined the firm in San Francisco.

Effective immediately, Glass becomes a Principal of Avison Young with a mandate to help grow the firm's agency leasing footprint in San Francisco and the rest of the Bay Area. She will focus on office leasing and landlord and tenant representation, and take the lead on Avison Young's exclusive listing for Beacon Capital's 44 Montgomery Street property, a class A office tower in the heart of San Francisco's financial district.

Glass brings 16 years of commercial real estate industry experience to Avison Young, most recently as senior director at Cushman & Wakefield in San Francisco. During her career, she has brokered leases spanning 4.6 million rsf while specializing in landlord representation within the downtown San Francisco office market.

In addition to acting for landlords, she has represented tenants in several significant office leasing transactions.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Glass was ranked by Costar as one of San Francisco's top brokers in 2010, 2009, 2008 and 2005. In 2006, she was presented with Cushman & Wakefield's Brokerage Service Excellence Award, as determined by outstanding client feedback. Additionally, in 2005, she was the recipient of Cushman and Wakefield's Young Leadership Award for Northern California based on her formation and leadership of the firm's Young Leaders Group.

Before entering the industry with Cushman & Wakefield and advancing to her senior role, Glass served as a financial services consultant in San Francisco while also working on site with Wells Fargo in Seattle and Toyota Financial in Torrance, CA. She is active in the commercial real estate industry and formerly held a seat on the executive committee of the San Francisco District of the Urban Land Institute.
