Mr. Ward said, "Michael and I are excited to serve our clients within a practice that functions as an IP boutique with the benefit of big firm resources. We look forward to complementing an already strong group of IP attorneys across Kelley Drye's offices."
Mr. Zinna's practice encompasses all facets of intellectual property, with a focus on patent and trademark litigation, procurement, clearance and licensing. In particular, he has extensive experience representing his clients in patent litigation against non-practicing entities (NPEs). Mr. Zinna also represents patent holders and petitioners in post-grant review proceedings before the PTAB and handles opposition and cancellation proceedings before the U.S. Trademark Trial & Appeal Board (TTAB). In addition to his patent and trademark docket, Mr. Zinna litigates trade dress, copyright and unfair competition cases, and advises clients on branding strategy and patent design-around options.
