Law Firm Promotes Ten to Special Counsel, Elects Five New Partners
NEW YORK, July 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Kelley Drye & Warren LLP has promoted ten attorneys to special counsel and elected five new partners, effective July 1, 2017.

The new special counsel, and their practice groups, are:
- Cameron Argetsinger, Insurance Recovery
Cameron focuses on insurance recovery litigation. He represents corporate policyholders in insurance coverage disputes relating to the full spectrum of insurable losses, including directors' and officers' liability, mass tort liability, environmental contamination, intellectual property liability, employment practices liability and first-party property damage. Additionally, Cameron represents clients in various commercial disputes, including false advertising, construction design defects and international trade. Cameron is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and Virginia State Bar. - Matt Basile, Real Estate
Matt has broad experience in commercial real estate law, including mortgage, mezzanine and construction financing, acquisitions and dispositions, joint venture developments, and net lease transactions, including VA facility development deals. He is involved with transactions pertaining to commercial real estate assets, including office developments, retail properties, hotels, apartment complexes and distressed assets. Matt also has significant experience implementing tax-advantaged ownership structures, including Delaware statutory trusts. In addition to his legal practice, Matt is a director and co-founder of Building Bridges Worldwide, a not-for-profit organization committed to constructing schools, orphanages, clean water wells, medical clinics and bridges in impoverished communities around the world. Katie provides regulatory counseling and litigation support in matters involving a variety of consumer products, including dietary supplements, foods, over-the-counter drug products, cosmetics and sports equipment. She regularly reviews product labeling and advertising to determine compliance with federal regulations. Katie advises clients regarding the use of efficacy and health benefit claims, "green" marketing, "made in the USA" claims, social media and consumer, celebrity and expert endorsements. Melissa focuses her practice on high-stakes international arbitration and complex business litigation. Melissa's broad experience helping companies navigate the challenges and opportunities of a global marketplace includes matters involving contract disputes, environmental law, consumer fraud claims, bilateral investment treaty protections, the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, and the enforcement of arbitration awards and foreign judgments in the United States. Mike focuses on technology litigation and dispute resolution. He represents both established and emerging technology companies throughout the U.S. He also provides advice on issues ranging from hardware and software applications, such as communications infrastructure, SaaS, the Internet of Things, smartphones and tablets, to legal and regulatory advice affecting technology companies, such as on issues of security, privacy and data protection. Joel is a commercial litigator defending companies in a range of complex disputes and class actions involving securities, financial services, communications and false advertising cases. He also has significant international arbitration experience. On one hand, Joel has been involved in litigations with billions of dollars at stake and on the other, he has experience resolving dozens of disputes through non-binding mediation. Beth counsels clients on a wide range of legal and legislative matters related to federal, state and local government procurements. An experienced litigator, she regularly represents clients in bringing, and defending against, bid protests before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. Government Accountability Office and federal agencies. In addition, Beth counsels clients on their federal contracts and subcontracts, teaming agreements, organizational conflicts of interest, and compliance with other applicable procurement law. Dino works with generic pharmaceutical manufacturers in their efforts to bring products to market. Prior to law school, Dino held a process engineering/research pharmacist role at a major pharmaceutical company. Dino is a member of the Illinois State Bar. - Cathy Lee, Litigation
Cathy's practice focuses on class action litigation and media and entertainment litigation. Cathy has intensive experience in defending and advising companies in Telephone Consumer Protection Act matters. Cathy has also defended class actions involving unfair competition and false advertising claims. In addition, she has represented entertainment companies on a variety of matters, including breach of contract and anti-SLAPP issues. - Jaclyn Metzinger, Litigation
Jaclyn's practice involves commercial and complex civil litigation with a focus on consumer class actions, employment matters and life insurance disputes. Jaclyn regularly defends companies in large-scale class actions involving complex legal challenges involving the manufacturing and marketing of their services and products in the food, beverage, and retail industries and other consumer products markets. Jaclyn strives to identify and mitigate potential exposure to class action claims and other multi-claimant proceedings, and has been a key team member involved in dismissals and denials of class certification. Jaclyn is a member of the New York State Bar.
