Law Firm Promotes Eight to Special Counsel, Elects Three New Partners
NEW YORK, July 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Kelley Drye & Warren LLP has elected three new partners and promoted eight to special counsel, effective July 1, 2016.

In addition to the new special counsel, James F. Jacobus, Andrew H. Lee, and Kristi L. Wolff were newly elected partner to the firm.
The new special counsel and their practice groups are:
- Victoria E. Anderson, Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation
Ms. Anderson focuses her practice on employee benefits and executive compensation. She has experience with the legal compliance issues that both large and small companies face with respect to their retirement and medical plans. Ms. Anderson is active in the firm's pro bono efforts and developed a 403(b) retirement savings plan for a California-based non-profit, benefiting families of injured military service members. In 2014 and 2015, she was selected as one of New York Metro's Super Lawyers – Rising Stars. She is a member of the New York State Bar. - Jennifer A. Bedoya, Real Estate
Ms. Bedoya focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions throughout the United States, including permanent financings, leasing, acquisitions, dispositions and related corporate matters. She has experience with transactions involving different types of commercial real estate assets, including office developments, retail property, hotels and apartment complexes. Ms. Bedoya is a member of the Connecticut and New York State Bars. - Sarah L. Cronin, Litigation
Ms. Cronin focuses on entertainment, intellectual property, complex business litigation and insurance recovery. She has represented and advised media and entertainment companies on a variety of matters, including copyright, idea submission, trademark, right of publicity, breach of contract, employment and insurance recovery. She also represents and advises companies in insurance coverage disputes in a wide range of practice areas, including media and entertainment and construction. Ms. Cronin is the Co-Chair of the California Chapter of the Media Law Resource Center, Vice-Chair of the ABA Forum on Communications Law Training & Development Committee, and the Vice-Chair of American Bar Association, Trial & Insurance Practice Section, Media, Privacy and Advertising Law Committee. Hunter, Government Relations and Public Policy
Mr. Hunter focuses on federal and state campaign finance, lobbying disclosure, and ethics rule compliance; PAC creation, operation, and reporting; formal complaint and informal agency review response at the federal and state levels; and Federal Communications Commission political broadcasting regulatory compliance. He brings years of national campaign and public advocacy organization staff experience to his practice, augmenting legal analysis with a deep understanding of campaign and advocacy organizations' operational needs. Ms. Kim focuses her practice on international trade and customs matters. She represents domestic industries in trade remedy proceedings, particularly antidumping and countervailing duty investigations, administrative and five-year reviews and appellate litigations. Ms. Kim regularly appears before the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. International Trade Commission and the U.S. Court of International Trade. Mr. Loeffler has a transactional and regulatory practice focused on advertising, privacy, data security and other consumer protection issues. He helps clients manage risks through the complete process of designing and implementing marketing strategies, including the negotiation of marketing and technology agreements. Mr. Loeffler also advises clients on compliance with federal and state laws on privacy and data security, specifically focusing on issues involving emerging technologies. Mr. Loeffler is a Certified Information Privacy Professional for the United States and Europe by the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Ms. Lorenzo's practice focuses on representing communications service providers in litigation and enforcement matters. She represents clients in government investigations, FCC enforcement actions and civil disputes, including litigating False Claim Acts cases brought under both federal and state law. Ms. Lorenzo represents clients in all phases of complex federal and state commercial litigation, including trials and appeals, and has also represented clients in arbitration and mediation proceedings. Ms. Quier-Sheth's practice focuses on employee benefits and executive compensation issues. She has particular experience advising Fortune 500 companies on benefits and compensation issues, including advising on legal and regulatory developments impacting benefits and compensation programs, counseling businesses on fiduciary, benefits, tax and compensation compliance matters, negotiating with the IRS and DOL remedial actions necessary to cure compliance deficiencies, and negotiating benefits-related provisions in purchase/sale agreements, services/TPA agreements, investment management agreements and trust agreements.
