Keane Care, Altosoft Celebrate Delivery of Dashboard Analytics, Insights to 50 Long-term Healthcare Providers
MEDIA, Pa., Oct. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Altosoft, an innovator in the field of healthcare informatics and business intelligence, and Keane Care, Inc. the long-term care unit of Keane, Inc., an NTT DATA Company, today announced that Keane Care has successfully deployed Altosoft's Insight™ business intelligence platform at 50 long-term healthcare providers nationwide.
The deployments are part of an ongoing technology-based partnership between the two companies, enabling Keane to deliver a comprehensive set of clinical and operations dashboards to its long-term care provider clients, allowing those clients to better visualize, monitor and analyze their operations.
Keane selected Insight after evaluating offerings from multiple vendors. "We offered our customers reporting and business intelligence solutions from other companies, but they didn't fully meet our clients' needs. Our clients found them far too complex and difficult, both in implementation as well as operation," said Jim Ingalls, Keane Care's director of sales. "We needed a solution capable of helping our clients increase their operational efficiency and get the specific information they needed in a timely fashion without the overhead and complexity of traditional BI tools."
"Insight proved to be the most flexible of any product we evaluated. We were able to complete installations within hours, giving our clients the ability to quickly begin accessing and evaluating their data to make better decisions at work," Ingalls added. He noted that Insight delivers solid benefits both in back office operations of health care organizations as well as on the clinical floor. The result, he said, is an improvement in the delivery of care.
Altosoft's Insight is designed to exceed performance and scalability requirements for even the largest enterprises, but its rapid implementation, cost effectiveness, low maintenance, and ease-of-use also make it ideal for departmental solutions, mid-sized businesses, and embedded/OEM applications. Ingalls said Insight's unique no-programming model enables Keane business analysts to rapidly develop solutions, allowing end-users to access information without the need for further custom work that can slow down response time.
"Our partnership with Keane Care demonstrates our shared vision of the need to provide organizations with powerful, yet easy-to-use, tools to quickly analyze operational information and deliver it to users in a single unified view to empower them to make better decisions," said Scott Opitz, Altosoft's chief executive officer. "Keane Care recognizes that this is true at every level, from frontline workers to
C-level executives. The fact that 50 organizations have adopted Insight marks a major milestone, and indicates strong market acceptance of our vision. We are honored by Keane Care's choice of Insight as the preferred dashboard and analytics system for its post-acute care provider clients."
