Katie Lahey to Join Korn/Ferry as Managing Director, Australia & New Zealand
SYDNEY, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE: KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, has announced that Katie Lahey is joining the Firm as Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand.
Ms. Lahey has a distinguished career in Australian business and public policy, most recently serving as Chief Executive of the Business Council of Australia (BCA) for almost a decade. The BCA is an association of chief executives of leading Australian corporations that has successfully contributed to public policy debates to help shape key economic and business reforms in Australia.
In her role, Ms. Lahey has extensive experience in operational and organizational strategy and change management, as well as advocacy and business development. Prior to her role at the BCA, she was CEO of the New South Wales State Chamber of Commerce, Chief Executive of Sydney City Council and Chairman and CEO of the Victorian Tourism Commission.

Ms. Lahey also has a strong commitment to the not-for-profit sector, serving as an Ambassador of the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation and previously holding board positions at the Australia Council, Major Performing Arts Board and the Garvan Research Foundation.
Ms. Lahey was awarded a Centenary Medal for her contribution to business leadership. She has a First Class honours Arts degree from the University of Melbourne, as well as an MBA class from Melbourne Business School.
Ms. Lahey will start her role at Korn/Ferry early next year. Gary Reidy, who successfully led Korn/Ferry's presence in Australasia for the past 11 years, will assist Ms. Lahey with her transition and assume a new role as Senior Advisor.
