ABOUT KATHRYN A. WILHELM

With more than 28 years of experience in engineering, Ms. Wilhelm is currently serving as Vice President of Engineering and Gulf South Operations with Bioengineering Group, Inc.  She is responsible for oversight of all engineering operations and strategic planning. She is experienced in project/program/organizational management, strategic operations, quality assurance and control.  She specializes in water/wastewater treatment systems in support of green building design, ecosystem restoration efforts and flood control infrastructure.  Some of the companies where Ms. Wilhelm formerly held engineering and managerial positions include Burk Kleinpeter, Inc., McCrory Williams, Inc., Orion Engineering, Inc., Volkert & Associates, Herzog Hart Corporation, Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation and Cessna Aircraft Company.  Ms. Wilhelm received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Wichita State University in 1982.  She is the recipient of numerous honors and awards including ASME Mobile Chapter-Young Engineer of the Year, 1994-1996, MACE Outstanding Mechanical Engineer of the Year, 2001, ASPE Engineer of the Year in Private Practice, 2002 and MACE Engineer of the Year, 2003.  Ms. Wilhelm is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineering, New Orleans Section, National Society of Professional Engineers, Alabama Society of Professional Engineers, Louisiana Engineering Society, Mobile Area Council of Engineers and Pi Tau Sigma National Mechanical Engineering Honor Society.  She and her husband, Michael Hubbert, DMD, currently reside in Metairie, Louisiana, where they enjoy gardening, swimming and travel.
