Karen Quintana Joins XL Group as Client Distribution Leader

NEW YORK, Aug. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Karen Quintana is joining XL Group's North America Distribution and Network Team as Vice President and Client Distribution Leader in San Francisco.  Karen is based in XL's San Francisco office, reporting to Frank Soldano, XL Group's Regional Leader – West.

Karen joins XL Group from Marsh Risk & Insurance Services in San Francisco where she served as Senior Vice President and Sr. Excess Casualty Placement Representative.  She brings to XL Group more than 25 years of insurance industry experience handling complex transactions for national accounts from a wide range of industries including technology, retail, real estate, manufacturing/industrial and financial institutions.  Prior to her 22-year tenure with Marsh, Karen held various claims positions with Industrial Indemnity, Fireman's Fund Insurance Company and The Hartford.
