Karen Foley Becomes Chief Financial Officer Of Symmons Industries, Inc.

BRAINTREE, Mass., Feb. 20, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Symmons Industries, Inc. is pleased to introduce Karen A. Foley as our new Chief Financial Officer. Karen joined Symmons in 2008 as Manager of Finance. She was promoted to Director of Finance in 2010 and then appointed to the company's leadership team in 2017. Since joining Symmons, Karen has led many cross-functional teams that impact many of the company's key strategic initiatives, including new product development, retail/e-commerce, and risk management.

Karen earned a Bachelor of Business Administration-Finance from University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Suffolk University. Prior to joining Symmons, Karen had a successful career at Haemonetics Corporation and local biotech companies performing roles of increasing responsibility in finance, sales, and business strategy. 

Outside of Symmons, Karen is very active in fundraising events benefiting the Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital for Children in Canton, MA. Karen has also volunteered for Canton Public Schools and the town's youth and high school sports teams.
