CHICAGO, Sept. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicago based Kapow Events today announced that it will open a new office location in Dallas, Texas on October 1. This will be the corporate event company's third location in the United States and its first in the south.
Kapow selected Dallas as its next location due to the city's strong restaurant scene and robust technology presence, which includes many existing Kapow clients such as CDW, Accenture and UBS.
Keeping in line with Kapow's local emphasis, co-founder Michael Timpone relocated from Chicago to Dallas and is aggressively staffing up the office with homegrown tastemakers and event professionals. The team is actively building out vendor relationships and crafting unique event packages tailored specifically to the local market. Kapow currently hosts dozens of events per week nationally out of its Chicago and New York City locations.

This year, Kapow Events has experienced a big increase in its operations. The company will move into new Chicago corporate headquarters at 205 W. Wacker on the 12th floor this month. Kapow spent the last six months building out the 12,000-square-foot space that will resemble a lounge and feature a fully equipped bar to reflect the company's brand and inspire its clients.
In addition to its new Chicago headquarters, the company opened its Manhattan location in June and has been staffing up rapidly in Chicago, New York City and now Dallas.
