LONDON, Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Kantar announces the appointment of Helen Russell as its new Global Talent Director. Reporting to Chief Executive Eric Salama, she will work closely with the CEOs and talent heads from Kantar's operating companies to drive the agenda around people and career development, organisational development and HR best practice matters.
Helen was previously VP of Human Resources at Yahoo EMEA and prior to that the Head of EMEA at Siebel and the European HR Director for Pegasystems. She joins in August and will be based in London, having relocated with her family from Geneva.
In combination with other Talent appointments which have been made across the Group in recent weeks, the appointment signifies a strengthening of Kantar's Talent and HR capabilities and a determination to make talent central to the way the business operates.
Salama said: "We cannot hope to be the kind of partner to our clients that we want to be without having committed engaged people across the Group, playing to their strengths and equipped with the skills and tools which they need to succeed. Our client and talent agendas are inextricably linked. In spending time with Helen, I know that she has the right combination of strategic vision, experience and focus on follow-through to thrive in our business and to take our capability to the next level. I am thrilled that she is joining us."
Russell said: "It is critical for me to be passionate about the business in which I operate and in Kantar I have that opportunity. I am looking forward to the opportunity to create and drive a highly commercial world class HR function capable of building the talent necessary to deliver and drive the agenda of Kantar's clients.''
